A clear single pack, fast drying sealer which is easily sanded and has excellent adhesion to all timber species. Formulated to be applied as a thin first coat under all Polycure coatings.

Application

Application

Preparation: Preparing the floor to a professional standard is essential to achieve the best results. Fill all nail holes with a water based putty, allow to dry. Sand uncoated floor with 120-150 grade sandpaper or screenback on a flexible pad to ensure floor is uniformly dull with no sanding scratches, nibs or fur. Vacuum thoroughly. Take care to avoid scratching the surface.

Mixing: Stir thoroughly before use.

Tools: 6mm nap roller or applicator and a high quality brush.

  1. Stir FASTASEAL 3528 thoroughly before use.

  2. Apply a coat of FASTASEAL 3528 by brushing around the edges and use a 6mm mohair cover for the broad floor area. Allow 30 minutes to 1 hour to dry.

  3. Sand FASTASEAL 3528 with a burgundy high speed pad or 150-180 grade screen back moving quickly to avoid gumming. Vacuum thoroughly.
